Appointments

From Monday 2 June, we’re introducing Accurx as our new online consultation system, replacing AskMyGP.

What this means for you:

  • No login required – just enter your details and message us.

  • Easy access via our website or NHS App.

  • Instant communication – we can reply by text, and even send you links to self-book appointments.

  • Your conversation becomes part of your medical record – view it anytime via the NHS App.

  • Choose appointment days – our new system allows you to request appointments on days that suit you.

  • This change is part of our effort to simplify access and improve care. You’ll still get the same service — just more flexibly, with better tools behind the scenes.

If you are unable to use our online service simply give us a call and one of our reception team will be able to complete the request on your behalf.

If you need a face to face appointment we try to make sure you see the doctor of your choice but if they are not available we may ask you to see another doctor.

If you are too ill to come to the surgery and you require a visit at home, please call the surgery before 10.00am. Home visits take up more of a doctor’s time than a consultation in the surgery, so if you are mobile please come into the surgery to be seen.

If you are unable to attend or no longer require an appointment, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible, so we can offer the appointment to someone else.

When the practice is closed it is still possible to seek help via the NHS 111 service.  The service is intended for medical problems that cannot wait until the practice reopens.  You can call 111 when the surgery is closed or you can seek help online at www.111.nhs.uk
